This summer I found a rock in my yard that I immediately saw as an eastern Washington hillside. Remembering that an art teacher once told me that an artist can find a mountain in a simple rock, I took it to the studio and started interpreting it that way. Then, out of what felt like nowhere, another rock appeared this time in the shape of a mountain. Off to the studio to become a model for many interpretations of a mountain. Other rocks appeared and became future Models. What fun!
